An Introduction to the Blog of a Teenage Optimist.

Hello. My pseudo name is L, and this is my blog. I asked Google earlier “how to write the perfect introduction to my blog”, but after scrolling through endless accounts of what others think is the best way to make myself known in the blogosphere, I realised
there really is no one way to do it.Every blog is different, as is every blogger. All I can say is that I’m really excited to be able to call myself a ‘blogger’ again; it’s something I always wanted to be, but never really had the motivation to go ahead and become until about a year ago. I had a blog, but having made it at age fourteen, it didn’t quite represent me now. Looking back over my very first posts at age fifteen doesn’t just make me cringe, it hit me hard quite how much I felt like they weren’t like me now. This is a fresh start, to make posts that I feel are totally me; me being an optimistic teenager that wants somewhere to put my thoughts other than on a piece of paper. (I’ve had more diaries than I can count, but I couldn’t stick to one like I stuck to my blog last year – don’t diaries end up feeling like a chore? After all, you can’t type into one!)

Here’s a feature I do – Music I listened to whilst writing this post:

  • The Fray – How to save a Life
  • The Fray – You Found Me
  • The Fray – Over my Head
  • The Fray – Never say Never
  • The Fray – Heartless
  • The Fray – Look after You
  • Snow Patrol – Chasing Cars
  • The Fray – Heartbeat
  • The Fray – Syndicate
  • The Fray – Run for Your Life
  • The Fray – All at Once
  • The Fray – Love Don’t Die

    1. Thankyou so much, I’m so glad you’re enjoying them! It’s good to know I’m not the only one, too – I love the notebooks I buy to write in, but just not enough to keep writing in them. 🙂
